2016 Globes: 10 Best Dressed

WARM WISHES FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON

My dear Golden Globes, you came saw and conquered the first award show of the evening with most of the ladies and gentlemen who attended you on Point as they dressed to the nines. We watched and wondered at your glamour for 2 hours of red carpet and 3 hours of people ignoring sound cues and the most bleeping of any award show. We live-tweeted (shameless plug @bainehaus on twitter) through all of the carpet and once or twice during the show, but now it is time for our long form format as week look at our top 10.

(In no particular Order)

Let’s start out the night with first on the Red Carpet and last year’s best Comedy Actress in a Tv Show Gina Rodriguez. She wore this amazing ballgown with off the shoulder sleeves by Zac Posen. This dress might not have been over the top edgy but it brought old Hollywood Glamour that allowed the actress to look like a latina Elizabeth Taylor and I loved it!

Keeping with the Grecian trend but switching colors Kristen Dunst wore one of my favorite Valentino dresses and looked killer in it. The actress also went against the grain for the night by wearing her hair up instead of down which was popular by most of the nominees and presenters.

In our Last Greek dress of the night on the good list comes from actress Lily James. I’ve loved her red carpet style since the Cinderella press tour and she continues you amaze me. For this year’s Globes she rocked a G-O-R-G-O-U-S Marchesa white gown.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum, came to the Globes in this stunning Zuhair Murad Couture gown but she got a very good accessory with her husband. I was also happy to see that Channing Tatum is rocking a look that is very reminiscent of his X-men Character Gambit in the hair and goatee department.

Jamie Alexander, is a Bad Ass both on and off the screen and this bold emrald and black geometric print dress by Genny. Her show may be called Blindspot but she is hard to miss in this dress (couldn’t resist the pun).

Jennifer Lopez, can start and stop any trend she wants and after showing off the naked dress trend a few years ago it was nice to see covered but still sexy in this Giambattista Valli cape dress. I loved the color on her skin tone, the way she accesoried and because of that I can forgive the Angilina Jolie leg posing

Apperently it is Golden Globes law that you must have Jennifer Lawrence in Dior on your best dress list, SO we do.

P.S I Love her hair very french

Say what you Want but in my opinion Cate Blanchet is right in everything she wears. So yes this funky pink fringe dress by Givenchy is awsome.

I am in LOVE with this Louis Vitton  Apron Dress. The sequiend shear paneling combination combination apron dress is perfection. I can’t wait to see what Alicia Vikander wears to the next award show.

Brie Larson in this Custom Calvin Klein just proves how amazing the fashion of the new award season darling are. This is a dress clearly designed to carry a Golden Globe around with. I wonder if they’re going to dressing her for the Oscars, because I am a major fan of this partnership.

It’s just fun. This kind of dress wouldn’t cut it at the Oscars, but at the Globes, it was a chance worth taking.
