I have never been one to shy away from playing with my hair, and while I have never dyed it, when it comes to cut I can be quite the Daredevil. Since March of last year, I have been growing out a pixie cut for the second time, and just like the last time I managed to get to my shoulders before becoming utterly bored with my cut. After debating what I wanted to do with my hair, I brought my dilemma to Sarah, who suggested I return to a pixie cut. She showed me an amazing cut worn by internet hair phenomenon @WhippyCake. Despite a little bit of hair hate from our long hair loving sister, Rachel. I decided it was again time to return to my beloved Pixie Cut.
This time around though I went for a little length on the top so I could play around with different styles. When I cut my hair short or tell people that I am cutting, from most long haired ladies I get the same reaction, “I don’t know if I am bold enough to do that,” or “I don’t think that would look good on me.” For me, hair is something to play around with and I am comfortable with having to grow out a mistake. I truly believe that there is a cut in every length that works on every face. The trick is doing your research and talking with your stylist. I have been going to mine for a year, and there were some areas where we modified the cut to fit my face structure better. What do you all think of the new ‘do?
