Halloween is that awesome time of year when you get to get go out and basically play dress up. There are hundreds of posts out there talking all about last minute costumes, DIY costumes, etc. So I wanted to approach this holiday a little differently. What do you wear when you want to be festive but not decked out in costume? I’ve come up with two looks for you and the pieces can be mixed and matched.
First off we have this fun off-the-shoulder sweatshirt. It features a jack-o-lantern and the pun “I’m hollow inside.” You can wear this with skinny jeans or a black leather skirt as pictured above; or you could pair it with your active wear pants, leggings, or any type of jeans. It will really go with anything. It’s just the right amount of Halloween flair.
Next, we have this darling little baguette ring. The black and gold invoke the colors of Halloween, but you can wear this bauble all year round. It’s the small subtle accessories, that hint of something extra, which helps to separate your outfit from everyone else’s.
Add a little touch of whimsy to your look by dressing up your phone in this cute ghost case. Another piece featuring a pun it is cute, clever, and sure to get you a compliment or two while you are running errands and stocking up on Halloween candies.
Want to be dressed up but not fully in costume? Check out this cute cat “costume” t-shirt. Add some sparkling ears and and do a cat eye with your eyeliner and you will be perfectly ready for a subtle Halloween look.
Leather is in this year. Grab a faux leather skirt and you can dress it up for Halloween and then continue to wear it throughout the fall and winter months. I particularly like the skirt featured above because it has a slight flare to it. This helps to balance and camouflage wider hips.
Finally, let’s talk shoes. Specifically, these gorgeous black booties. Sleek and modern these will be a great alternative to this year’s fringe bootie craze.
