September Makeup Haul
I literally ran out of all my makeup this month, which can only mean one thing… Makeup haul time! Now I love the occasional switching up of things up so I went out and tried some new things.
After using MAC for a few years and finding it a little heavy and skin drying I felt is was very important, for the sake of my face to find a new foundation. With the help of that Sephora color IQ (which I took a little bit ago), I began wearing the Sephora Brand foundation but found I went through the bottle too fast. This month upon emptying the bottle I used my color IQ again and found the All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation by NARS.
I love this foundation, because it comes out very thin, distrubtes evenly on my skin and doesn’t feel dry or cakey.
Again, transitioning out of MAC and moving on to a diffrent brand, both reccommeded by friends and sort of by my color IQ (it reccomended the original foundation) I changed to bareMinderals Blemish Remedy powder. I switched to this because while I have pretty clear skin, I due tend to get a little red and this powder helps combat that.
Sometimes you just need an everyday go to eye shadow and sometimes you need something to play into a more dramatic eye. Right now I am pretty sure there is nothing better for that then this Long Wear Cream Shadow in Golden Pink by Bobbi Brown. Seriously people since buying this I think I’ve used it everyday, which besides foundation is normally rare for me.
Thanks to some amazing genes, I wasblessed with good brows. However, they get pretty unrully pretty fast. Because of this I am an avid brow waxer, just to keep it them in check. In order to keep them looking nicer in between waxes or to make them more dramatic when going out on the town I have started to use brow powder and shape it from European Wax Center.
I L-O-V-E a good bold lipstick having previously adressed my summer favorite Rimmel London Kate Moss 107 in my French Summer Post and have been on the search for a dramatic fall, color. However everyshade I found myself loving in the magazines, in blogs or in vlogs were way to expensive. Thanks to fellow 107 lover Zoella though I was able to find this lovely shade called Black Cherry or shade 477 by Revlon.
When I was at Target aquiring the Black Cherry Lipstick I also found this great nude everyday lip stick called Airy Fairy 070 by Rimmel London. It’s great cause it is part of their lasting finish collection, making it the perfect shade to wear to work and to school.
